What is a pattern based
curtain wall?
Its when you have created a form such as the Green Point Stadium
in Cape Town, and you want to create its large exterior surfaces on rivet.
You will use the pattern base method on your curtain wall,
which does not have a core, where you create a pattern or grid on the form of
the structure, then you will create a module which will be used on each
separate panel to create the exterior look. One of the many purposes is to make
the processes of design with patterns easier.
What does a pattern
based curtain wall consist of?
A self-designed grid
consist of divisions, mullions, and panels.
